I am a part of the community that I serve, which is why I can never forget how crucial it is to deliver nothing but the best in the classes I present to new parents. My own experiences during pregnancy, birth and as a parent, combined with my experience as a Black woman in America inform everything I do through Sankofa Mama. I believe in liberation through education and it is my mission to bring quality, accessible birth and postpartum education to as many Black mamas as possible.
